Beautiful October Beach Wedding

October is the month of choice for many couples who have destination beach weddings along Florida’s West Coast. I performed the music for a beautiful October beach wedding on 10/10/15 on Coquina Beach in Bradenton, Florida. The bride and groom were from Germany, and their guests and wedding party were from the U.S., Spanish speaking countries and Germany. This made for a truly international destination beach wedding.

October is one of the most pleasant months weather-wise in Florida. The weather for this event was perfect. Temperatures in the low 80’s and a delightful, cool breeze.

I began by playing classical music for prelude music. The wedding was delayed slightly because of heavy traffic along the beach roadways, due to the very typical numerous visitors to the area. I was happy to play while the finishing decorating touches were completed by Maria from the wedding planners, Events and More.

Many of the beach goers were curious and moved closer to the beach wedding site to get a closer view and listen to the music.

For this beautiful October beach wedding, the couple chose “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen, “Canon in D” by Johann Pachelbel and “All You Need is Love” by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Wonderful song selections for their special day.

I also played background music during the sand ceremony. This is a section of the wedding ceremony where the bride and groom combine sands of different colors from two separate jars into one jar signifying the unity of their vows.

After the recessional I stayed and played while the photographer took pictures of  the bride and groom and their guests.

I enjoyed providing the music for this special day in the lives of this couple. It’s especially nice when the music is appreciated and people compliment me on my performance.

I’m looking forward to the next beautiful October beach wedding.
