I enjoyed playing for the Jazz at Two event sponsored by the Jazz Club of Sarasota. Special thanks to my quartet members, George Mancini – trombone, Bob Lunergan – drums, and Mark Neuenschwander – bass, who all did a great job. It was nice to play for such an appreciative audience!
I’m having a great time playing for Selby Garden’s Annual Lights in Bloom! I was there on Monday the 17th, and last night, and will be there again tonight, tomorrow night and then again on the 26th and 27th. Thankfully, since it was so cold last night, they were gracious enough to let me play ……

I’ll be playing on St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota this Friday night from 6:00 – 9:00 for the annual Christmas tree lighting. I’ll be located in front of the Irish Pub on the north side of the circle and hope to see you there!

I played a wedding at one of the most beautiful venues I’ve played ~ under the banyan trees on Banyan Street in Boca Grande. Cocktail hour followed at the Boca Bay Pass Club that faces the Gulf of Mexico. Memorable event with an excellent wedding planner, Natalie.
I attended the USF Monday Night Jazz Series in Tampa last night with my friends Bob and Doc. The concert featured the USF Jazz Ensemble I as well as the USF Faculty Jazz Combo. Ralph Bowen from Rutgers University was the tenor sax jazz soloist and the program consisted of all original pieces by Bowen. ……

I played for a wedding ceremony last night at Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. Very unique setting. While the event took place, the guests included family members and friends, as well as lions, tigers and bears – oh my!
