Retirement Community Entertainment

I provided elegant classical guitar music to accompany an art show at Calusa Harbor House Retirement Community in Fort Myers, Florida. This retirement community entertainment helped to showcased the artwork that the residents have been creating under the direction of  their resident art teacher.

Providing entertainment for retirement communities involves selecting appropriate music to embellish the event. I worked with the event coordinator to design repertoire selections from my classical pieces. By watching the retirement community residents and listening to their initial positive comments, I knew I was on the right track.

Because the event  was held in a large communal area of the retirement community center, I knew I had to design the  sound reinforcement to cover the entire area. I used two Roland BA 330 PA battery powered speakers which worked perfectly.

I enjoy providing music for events at retirement communities. I find the residents appreciative and complimentary of my music. I’m also aware  that selecting the appropriate music to embellish this special event had an impact on the success of the show.
